The Best Monkey Bread Muffins You’ll Ever Make

If you’ve ever had monkey bread, you know it’s the kind of dessert people hover around and pull apart until it disappears. These monkey bread muffins take everything you love about the classic gooey, cinnamon-sugar-coated bites, and shrink it down into the perfect single-serve treat.

I made a batch this week and let’s just say… they didn’t last long. They’re buttery, sticky, sweet, and so easy to make using canned biscuits (because we love a shortcut around here). Great for weekend brunch, a cozy dessert, or just because you need a little something extra.

Once you try them, you’ll want to make them on repeat.

Why You’ll Love These Monkey Bread Muffins

There are plenty of breakfast recipes that look beautiful but take forever to make.

This isn’t one of them.

These monkey bread muffins are:

  • soft and buttery
  • coated in cinnamon sugar
  • easy to serve individually
  • perfect for brunches and holidays
  • great for feeding a crowd
  • kid-friendly
  • freezer-friendly

And unlike traditional monkey bread, nobody has to fight over the corner pieces.

Everyone gets their own.

Monkey Bread Muffins

I've always loved traditional monkey bread, but these individual monkey bread muffins might be even better. They're easier to serve, easier to share, and perfect for everything from holiday mornings to casual weekend brunches.
