Seattle’s Top Brunch Restaurants You Need to Try This Weekend
If you have been following The Baker & The Banker Podcast with Dan and I, you know that we have been trying new brunch places all around the Seattle area. It’s been a fun to research new (to us) spots and have something to look forward to on the weekends. While some spots have been just eh, we’ve also found some you must try. Check out my list below and get a brunch date on your calendar!
These are Seattle’s Best Brunch Spots:

downtown Seattle / pike place
the hart and the hunter
You won’t believe how cute this spot is. It’s a hidden gem in the city, in fact our server advised us NOT to share because he loves how quaint it is. I don’t gate keep though, you have to try this place. Their cinnamon french toast and biscuit sampler is to die for.
ben paris
One of mine and Ally’s favorite brunch spots! Their ricotta pancake is absolutely amazing. If you don’t feel like a carby breakfast, at least get one for the table to share. Afterwards, stroll across the street to Pike Place Market for fresh flowers, local vendors, or a coffee from the very first Starbucks store!

Ballard
sabine
An adorable brunch spot perfect for a slow morning.
While you’re there, if it’s the right day, walk a few steps to the Ballard Farmers Market. I always grab fresh flowers and a treat for later!
Capitol Hill
harry’s fine foods
A Capitol Hill favorite tucked away on a quiet street. The last time I was there I tried their cornbread pancake and donut holes. Both, incredible, but the donut holes were off the charts.

north seattle / lake union
westward
Right on the water with beautiful views of Lake Union. If the weather is nice, definitely grab a seat outside!
U-village / eastlake
portage bay cafe
A great brunch spot for a fresh dish made with local ingredients. A favorite for both locals and visitors!
edmonds
salt & Iron
Modern with a relaxed atmosphere. Great for brunch and a little walk after.
rusty pelican Cafe
A longtime brunch staple in Edmonds, super cozy.
Pop into the Edmonds Farmers Market on Saturdays. It’s right by both spots and always has something fun to browse.

kirkland
deru market
A local favorite for good reason. Their brunch is homey with fresh baked goods and an inviting feel. Definitely try the peanut butter cake if they have it!
Fremont
the whale wins
This spot is tucked away but totally worth the visit!

Seattle is full of amazing brunch spots, each tucked into different neighborhoods with different things to do afterward. There is something for every type of person. It’s the perfect excuse to spend a slow morning in the city, grab a meal and pick up some flowers at the local farmers market.
