Mariners Baseball Watch Party

Hey batter, batter!  Baseball season is here!  Dan and I couldn’t be more excited for the return of Mariners games, as we take advantage of these home games as  our weekly “date nights” throughout the spring and summer.  This year, instead of going to the game, we decided to spend Opening Night thanking Dan’s clients by throwing a big VIP Client Appreciation party with a Seattle Mariners baseball theme.

Invites were sent out as “tickets”, and guests were encouraged to come dressed in their M’s fan gear or colors.  We had been wanting to host a party at Life N Light in Everett, which is a super cool new event and photography studio.  The space fits up to 150 people, so it was the perfect venue for Dan’s event!

We brought in Brett of Dogfather Catering in to make us the best hot dogs, and give the space that ballpark aroma.  Brett set up his cart inside and made us the most delicious hot dogs I’ve ever had!

In between bites of the best hot dogs ever, I served guests nachos.  It’s not a baseball game without fake cheese and tortilla chips right?

We wanted the party to have similar amenities as you’d find at a real M’s game.  One of my favorite offerings at our stadium is the tiny plastic helmets filled with ice cream.  Instead of renting an ice cream machine, I found Aha Party Co who came with the cutest ice cream cart and made my tiny ice cream helmet party dreams come true.

The owner’s son Gus came to scoop ice cream for the event.  He was as sweet as can be, and can be requested at any event!  We are already looking for ways to include Aha Party Co into our next event!

Concession snacks were a must, so I built a 10 ft table of stadium treats with the basics like peanuts and sunflower seeds, to red rope and big league chew.  In addition to the candy, I filled in fan favorite desserts from Jenny Cookies Bake Shop like our Pb M&M cookies, brownies, crispy cubes, cupcakes and sugar cookies.

We made Dan his own personalized, edible baseball jersey sugar cookies.  Not a trace were left over after the party!

We knew guests may come with kids, so I invited Inflate Northwest to be a part of our event.  They are a family owned local business with the coolest bouncy houses and inflatables.  We were thrilled to be the first event of theirs to debut their new bubble dome!

Not only did the balloon dome keep the kids entertained, the adults had just as much fun!  I highly recommend something like this for your next event.  Parents were able to enjoy the game, the company of one another, without the stress of keeping kids busy.

Either as our guests arrived or before they left, we had a photo opp with the most amazing balloon garland created by Balloon Baby Designs.  Balloons are such a fun way to incorporate party colors and add that festive feel.  I always like having a photo opp so guests can snap a photo to remember the party!

Before guests left, we had a fun take home: MyMortgageGuyDan baseball tees!  I’m a sucker for event merch, so we spoiled everyone with t-shirts to sport the next day, and all season long!

Such a fun night filled with great energy, fun people and the best food!  We are so grateful for those who trust Dan with one of the most important financial decisions of their life: their home loans!  We appreciate his clients and hope they felt as spoiled as possible.  Can’t wait for the next event!
