10 Spring Desserts You’ll Want To make all season long
There’s something about spring that makes you want to bake again.
Maybe it’s the longer days. Maybe it’s the flowers starting to show up. Or maybe it’s just the shift from heavy, cozy winter desserts to something a little lighter, brighter, and more fun.
This is the time of year I start reaching for lemons, strawberries, and anything that feels fresh and simple. The kind of recipes you can make for a weekend at home, a spring brunch, Easter, or just because you feel like baking something pretty.
I pulled together some of my favorite spring dessert recipes. These are the ones I actually make, the ones that feel doable, and the ones people always ask for again.

Lemon Blueberry Loaf
This is one of those recipes that feels like spring in loaf form.
It’s soft, bright, and just sweet enough with the combination of lemon and blueberries. Perfect for breakfast, afternoon coffee, or bringing to a spring gathering.

Carrot Cake Cupcakes
Carrot cake always makes an appearance this time of year.
These cupcakes are soft, lightly spiced, and topped with a creamy frosting that makes them feel a little extra without being complicated. They’re perfect for Easter or any spring celebration.

Strawberry Crumble Bars
If you want something simple but really good, these are it.
Buttery base, sweet strawberry filling, and a crumbly topping that makes them feel a little bakery-style. Easy to slice, easy to serve, and always one of the first things gone.

Vanilla Bean Key Lime Pie
This one is bright, tangy, and a nice change from heavier desserts.
It’s smooth, creamy, and has that fresh citrus flavor that just feels right for spring and early summer.

Banana Cream Pie Bars
A little nostalgic, a little indulgent, and so good.
These have all the flavors of a classic banana cream pie but in an easy bar form. Great for serving a crowd without needing to fuss over slicing a pie.

My baking supplies:
Lemon Cake with Lemon Buttercream
If you love lemon, this is the cake.
Soft lemon layers with a fluffy lemon buttercream that’s not too sweet. It feels fresh, light, and perfect for birthdays, brunch, or spring gatherings.

Texas Sheet Cake
This one might not scream “spring” at first, but it’s always a crowd favorite.
It’s simple, light, and perfect when you need something easy that feeds a lot of people.

Cinnamon Rolls
These are the kind of cinnamon rolls that look like they took all day… but don’t.
Soft, gooey, and topped with a simple glaze. Perfect for Easter morning, Mother’s Day, or a slow weekend at home.

Lemon Blueberry Mini Cakes
These feel a little more special but are still very doable.
Light lemon cake paired with blueberries in a smaller, more personal size. Great for showers, brunch, or when you want something that looks really pretty without a lot of stress.

Simply Strawberry Cake
This is one of my favorite simple cakes.
Soft, strawberry-filled, and perfect for spring. It’s the kind of cake you make when you don’t want anything complicated but still want something that feels homemade and seasonal.

Some of these are perfect for holidays and gatherings, and some are just good to have on a random afternoon when you feel like baking something.
Spring baking doesn’t have to be perfect or overthought.
If you make any of these, I’d love to hear what you think!
