Tips for Best Texture

  • BetterDays Chocolate Protein gives the creamiest result. Code: Cookies gets you a discount!
  • A small amount of fat (Fairlife milk or cream cheese) prevents iciness
  • Peppermint extract is strong! A little goes a long way

My favorite kitchen supplies:

Flavor Variations

  • Peppermint Mocha: Add the espresso powder
  • Extra Chocolate: Add 1 extra teaspoon cocoa powder
  • Mint Chip: Skip espresso and add chocolate chips as a mix-in

One of my biggest goals with protein recipes is that they don’t feel gritty. The texture is thick and creamy, especially after a respin, and it satisfies that “I want something sweet” feeling without needing anything extra.

If you’re new to the Ninja Creami, this is a great beginner recipe because it’s forgiving and easy to adjust:

  • Too thick? Add a splash of milk and respin
  • Too icy? One respin fixes it
  • Want it sweeter? Add a little sweetener before freezing

This chocolate peppermint protein freeze is one of those Ninja Creami recipes that feels fun, festive, and practical all at the same time. It’s proof that protein recipes don’t have to be boring.
