Lido Marina Village | Stoney Clover

If there was ever a shopping area for an out-of-state Jenny Cookies Bake Shop, I’d pick Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, California!  It’s the cutest outdoor shopping village made up of charming boutique shops and delicious restaurants all waterside.

After a day filled with fun at Disneyland, we were excited to experience a more laid-back, casual day of shopping and lunch.  Take a peek at how creative and detailed Lido Marina Village is.  Truly stylish at every turn.  (My dress linked HERE)

I was most excited to visit Stoney Clover Lane, a company I’ve been following for years on social media.  Two sisters started the company many years ago and it’s been exciting to see their business grow and expand like crazy over the years.

The store was just as cute as it looks on their Instagram page.  Bright, colorful, girly, with lots of pink.

Much like Jenny Cookies Bake Shop, Stoney Clover strives to provide their customers with an experience.  Now that I’ve personally been there, I can say, that is exactly what we got.  From selecting our bags to choosing the customization, every step was personalized and special.

Once you decide which bag, you are brought over to their customization bar filled with an endless amount of patches.  From alphabet letters to food and animal patches, there is truly something for everyone.

Their team was incredibly patient and made each of us feel like our personalization process was extra special and unique.  I was honestly shocked at how genuine their team was, after helping customer after customer make decisions.  It’s hard!

After you select your patches, they are stitched on individually.  The gal who was working the embroidery machine was so kind and seemed to be such a hard worker.  She shared with us that just she and one other gal on the team embroider every bag!

As much as I’d like to have gotten creative with a fun saying or special words, it would be weird if I didn’t get COOKIES. I chose the tote bag to match a duffle I already have with my name on it (that I absolutely love and use often!).

My daughter did not get the over-thinker gene that I possess, so it was easy for her to quickly choose a small duffle bag and select her accompanying patches.

Here’s a shot of our group’s bag selections.  They turned out so cute and colorful!!  Everyone’s bags truly represented their style and personality.  WIN A $200 STONEY CLOVER gift card HERE!

After we customized our Stoney Clover bags, we took a peek around the rest of the village.

Pretty sure Lido Marina Village is the cutest they come!

We worked up an appetite and I was thrilled to take my friends to Malibu Farm, home of one of my favorite salads, and beautiful food all around.

Passionfruit and Blood Orange cocktails combined with my favorite burrata and pomegranate salad, I was in heaven.  So good.

If you’re in the area or planning a trip to Southern California anytime soon, I highly recommend a visit to Lido Marina Village and Stoney Clover Lane!

Do you have a favorite shopping village?  Here in Seattle, I love University Village.  Love learning about other shopping areas I need to explore.  Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Hi Jenny,
I’m not sure if you stopped by Marrow Fine at Lido Marina Village. The founder, Jillian Sassone, is also from a small town in the PNW. Her business started out as a dream and is now a thriving jewelry business. You both have a lot in common. You have been featured on major networks and shows. Jillian’s pieces have been featured in Vogue, the New York Times and her pieces have been worn by actors and musicians. Check her out next time you visit Lido Marina Village.
