Dole Whip Day & Cookie Camp week 3

Your favorite Disneyland treat now has it’s own official celebratory day, July 19th!  To celebrate Dole Whip Day, we made them on my Monday Night Live bake-along this past Monday.  They are SO easy to make and I haven’t found anyone who doesn’t like them!  Grab a few ingredients and make a little magic in your own kitchen!

Homemade Disneyland Dole Whips

Ingredients:

2 cups frozen pineapple chunks

4 oz pineapple juice

1/4 cup sugar

large scoop vanilla ice cream

Supplies:

1M Decorating Tip

Disposable Decorating Bag

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender.  Make sure your blender lid is on, and blend until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.

Once blended, you can pour straight into a cup, garnish with maraschino cherry and paper umbrella and enjoy immediately!

If you prefer more of a Disneyland swirl look, you can pipe your Dole Whip mixture into your cup using a disposable decoraaing bag fitted with a 1M tip.

One of my favorite tricks for filling a decorating bag is to use a cup to hold your decorating bag while you fill it!

No matter how you fill your cup, piping bag or not, it’s going to taste delicious!  Let me know if you try this magical Disney-inspired recipe!

Now for Week 3 at Cookie Camp!

This week at Cookie Camp we are focusing on Connection.  It’s so important to stay connected, especially in the summer months with friends, family, neighbors and others in your life.  I love to see kids thinking of other people around them, focusing less on themselves and how they might be able to help out a family member or someone in their community.  This week at Cookie Camp we are encouraging the campers to look outside of themselves and write a letter telling us who they would gift a dozen cookies from Jenny Cookies Bake Shop to.  Is there someone deserving in your little one’s life that would enjoy a box of cookie happiness?

Grab a copy of our Free downloadable Cookie Camp letter here: CookieCampConnection

Fill out this form and email it to us or bring it in to either bake shop location and we just might surprise you with a box of cookies to give away!

Pin this idea for later!
