Where to stay in LA
If there’s one thing at the top of my favorites list, it’s a pretty hotel with great WIFI and a fantastic room service menu. It just doesn’t get better. I live for a big comfy bed and delicious food delivered to my room. I know, my sense of adventure is almost overwheming.
With a five day trip planned including multiple events in LA, I opted for a vacation rental over a hotel. Trust me when I say, it takes almost all of me to turn down room service…but I knew five days in a hotel wasn’t going to work. VRBO is definitely the way to go for an extended trip.
After scouring VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner) I found a really cute place in the Hollywood Hills, just miles from everything on my agenda.
When looking at VRBO’s online, I look REALLY close at the photos and read other traveler reviews. The Hollywood Hills house looked super cute and perfect for our trip.
We arrived and found the home to be exactly as pictured. Newly remodeled and absolutely darling. Win!!
My favorite part of the home was this rounded set of windows. They looked like they were a hundred years old. I love the shape and configuration. So pretty!
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we’d need to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. Not exactly room service, but it was it sure was a cute kitchen to make coffee in the mornings!
The home had 3 bedrooms and a rollaway sofa, which fit our group perfect. I had three friends with me, so we all fit comfortably.
Even though I might have missed the room service, I have to say the rooms in this cute VRBO were so cute, I didn’t miss the hotel at all! (Plus I probably didn’t need those midnight room service calories anyway.)
The bathroom in the master was beautiful, filled with marble and this cool wall cut out. I loved all the details!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
