Peppermint Protein Hot Cocoa

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop BetterDays Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 1 cup milk of choice I used coconut milk, it's so good!
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp peppermint extract add slowly, it’s strong!
  • Pinch of salt makes the chocolate flavor richer

Instructions

Microwave Method:

  • Pour your milk into a mug and microwave 60–90 seconds until hot.
  • Whisk in 1 scoop of BetterDays chocolate protein powder until completely smooth.
  • Add peppermint extract a tiny bit at a time — a little goes a long way.
  • Add a pinch of salt and whisk again.
  • Top with whipped cream, crushed candy cane, or chocolate shavings.

Stovetop:

  • Warm your milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steamy (don’t boil).
  • Whisk in the protein powder until smooth.
  • Add peppermint extract + salt, whisk, and pour into a mug.
