Ladies Party at the Patch
A few weeks ago we welcomed fall with a Ladies Party at the Patch! I hosted over 70 incredible women at Swans Trail Farm in Snohomish, Washington. The night was filled with sweets, crafting, delicious bites, laughs and lots of pumpkins!
Swans Trail Farm is one of the most beautiful venues here in Snohomish County with options to celebrate indoors our outdoors. The farm sits peacefully at the banks of the Snohomish River, with beautiful mountain views. From Sept 24-October 31, you can visit their pumpkin patch which includes an animal petting farm, cider mill, apple picking, corn maze, tractor rides and more!
We partied in their gorgeous indoor facility which boasts many windows filled with natural light, beautifully finished hardwood wainscoting and the most gorgeous stone fireplace. The room was large but we filled it with the warmth of friends, flowers, pumpkins and lots of dessert from Jenny Cookies Bake Shop!
Guests snacked from a delicious charcuterie from Seattle’s best event catering: The Catering Company! I have always had the very best experience working with them, it was a no-brainer to include them in this seasonal event. They are known for the quality of their scratch-made food and unsurpassed culinary expertise and creativity.
We were so lucky to include Jennifer of Firewater Events join us to serve beverages to our guests. We had something for everyone from hand crafted seasonal mocktails and cocktails created just for the event, to our favorite LUXE bubbly from Chateau Ste Michelle.
I love offering party guests a hands-on activity. There’s something so great about hand crafting, creating something new, and sometimes learning a new skill! I thought a simple fall wreath would be fun, and easy enough to workin on to while keeping conversation going with friends.
I found all of our wreath making supplies at JOANN stores and set up a craft table for guests to gather around to create, or pick up supplies to bring back to their table. It was fun to see how each person made their own unique wreath! They also doubled as a fun take-home party favor.
Ladies love to shop, so we created a small marketplace of new fall goods from Jenny Cookies Bake Shop, including our brand new fall sweatshirts. Guests were able to sneak peek the new merch and take home our newest products before anyone else!
After crafting, snacking, laughing and shopping, guests got to pick out a pumpkin from Swans Trail, and take home a bag of donuts from one of our favorite local donut shops, Frost. Nothing better than a snack when you get home, or donuts to enjoy the next morning with your coffee!
It was such a fun night filled with happiness. It sounds cheesy, but it really was! I love getting to meet new friends who follow along online, and the ability to put a face to a social media handle. I also absolutely love connecting people and introducing other local companies and business owners to one another. We had a room full of talent from local organizers like Jen from The Orderly Space, a fellow party gal Dawn of Revel and Glitter, to my favorite local flower farmer Zhanna of Pretty Flower Farm (who grew all the flowers at the party!) and more.
If you were a guest, thank you again for coming! If you’re reading this wishing you could have attended, please stay tuned for an upcoming holiday event. In the meantime, join us this Saturday at Jenny Cookies Bake Shop for a Bibbidi Bobbidi BOO event for the whole family! More details HERE.
