Let’s go to Cookie Camp!

The core of Jenny Cookies is connection, celebration, spreading kindness and encouraging confidence. As we head into a summer that looks different than normal, one filled with cancellations and loss, I wanted to create something to spread joy, hope and positivity to my audience.  Cookie Camp is our way of gathering cookie fans across the country for summertime fun while doing good in our community (with a side of cookies). The sweetest camp experience of the summer—minus the bugs.  A 6-week virtual camp with a weekly activity focused around kindness and community starting July 20th-August 29th. 

 

Any age! (4 and under will need parent assistance for a few of the activities) 

 

To join Cookie Camp, download and print the Camp Map at the end of this post or visit Jenny Cookies Bake Shop Saturday, July 18th to pick up in store.  The map features 6 weeks of themes we’ll complete together!  While you wait for camp to start, grab your crayons and color it in!    

 

 

YES!!  We want to award you with a special COOKIE patch for each completed activity.  Cookie Campers have until Saturday each week to complete the activity.  On Saturday, bring your map into Jenny Cookies Bake Shop with a photo of your completed activity (or video, actual project, etc)  and you’ll be awarded your limited edition cookie “patch” shaped sugar cookie on us!*

 

For our friends who live out of state or too far to travel to the shop, we’ll offer a free set of limited edition Cookie Camp pin patches!  After you’ve completed all 6 weekly activities, please mail us a self-addressed envelope with $5 (to cover our shipping/handling).  We’ll mail you back your cookie pins!  More info to follow.  

 

Absolutely!  Get ready for the most fantastic summer camp you’ve ever seen, in dessert form!  Our new Cookie Camp menu will launch in store July 25th, the first week kids can earn their cookie patches.  We have new shapes, flavors and designs all centered around Cookie Camp.  We obviously had to do a special edition Cookie Camp sweatshirt to commemorate all the fun and it might just be our cutest yet! Grab one online, we ship nationwide or pick up in store.   *Limited quantity, while supplies last.  

 

My goal for Cookie Camp is to inspire kids and adults to look for the good and be the good, in a time when things are pretty negative.  We are surrounded with loss, disappointment, stress, and unhappiness.  It’s easy to become discouraged and down.  I have struggled right alongside all of you these past few months personally and in the business as we’ve battled to stay open and keep our team working.  I am continually grateful for my Cookie Squad for always being resilient and flexible, and thankful to YOU, our customers and fans who have continued to support us by ordering treats from us, encouraging us with positive comments on social media and tuning in each Monday Night to bake along with me on Facebook.  I believe we are in this together, no matter how much distance is between us.  Cookie Camp is an opportunity to encourage our community, both locally and nationally to spread kindness, positivity and add a little fun into the summer that has been stripped from so many kids.
