Lasagna Soup Recipe
Have you seen the viral lasagna soup recipes on your social media pages? I can’t scroll without seeing a reel or tiktok about lasagna soup!
I decided to try my hand at one of the recipes that came across my feed. I picked up all my ingredients at Trader Joe’s and got to work. It took less than 30 minutes to whip up, and was a hit with my family.
With a few adjustments to the recipe I found online, I am sharing it below. This hearty, delicious dish is perfect for chilly evenings. Don’t forget to pick up a loaf of garlic bread to serve on the side!
Lasagna Soup

Ingredients
- 1 yellow onion
- 5 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp coriander
- 1 lb ground beef
- 15 oz tomato sauce
- 32 oz beef bone broth
- 1 bag pasta
- 1/3 cup cream
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 tbsp ricotta cheese
Instructions
- Dice onion & mince garlic
- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in large pot over medium heat. Add onions and garlic. Saute until translucent. Season with salt & pepper, oregano, thyme, and coriander.
- Add 1lb ground beef and cook until browned (about 7-8 minutes).
- Stir in tomato sauce and bone broth. Cover and simmer for 8 minutes.
- Add pasta of choice and cook per package instructions.
- 2 minutes before pasta is done, stir in cream and all cheeses until blended.
- Serve topped with extra cheese.
