The best part about Ice Cream Cake is you can tailor it to your (or dad’s) favorite ice cream and candy bar flavors.  My husband loves Kit Kats and Oreos, so I made sure to include them in this cake. He’s also crazy for my oreo cake pops so I made an oreo cake pop crust!

  1. This is such a great idea! And I love how you mentioned you can personalize it to your hubby’s taste with different candy bars!

  2. Thank you for this awesome tutorial! I made mine a little differently but it turned out amazing and everyone loved it. I am SO making ice cream cakes from here on out!! I did a cake pop chocolate bottom with cherry chocolate ice cream. I still used the ice cream sandwiches, which I think make it a lot more fun and give it more defining layers.
