Owl Cookie

  • Using the white icing bag, outline owl head sparing the ears.  Fill in section with a back and forth motion.
  • Using the brown icing bag, draw two oval shaped wings on either side of the owl's body and fill in with vertical lines.  Draw two small triangle-shaped ears at the top of the owl's head and fill in.
  • Using the orange icing bag, draw a dot onto the owl's face to make a beak.
  • Using the black icing, draw two small u-shaped eyelids with lashes.

Squirrel Cookie

  • Using the brown icing bag, draw an outline around the squirrel's tail and fill it in with a back and forth motion.  Dip squirrel cookie into a plate of brown jimmie sprinkles.
  • Using the tan icing bag, draw an oval shape to resemble the base of an acorn.  Using the brown icing bag, draw a top onto the base of the buttercream acorn.  Outline the body of the squirrel with two small ears.
  • Fill in the brown outline with brown icing using a back and forth motion.
  • Using the black icing, draw an eye and nose onto the squirrel's face.

Fox Cookie

  • Using the white icing bag, draw two rounded triangle shapes on the bottom of the fox face for eyes. Using the orange icing, draw an outline around the fox's face and add two orange ears.
  • Using the brown and white icing bags, fill in the outlined spaces.
  • Using the white icing, draw dots on the forehead of the fox.
  • Using the black icing, draw two small eyelashes and a nose on the fox.

Notes

To make these adorable Woodland Animal sugar cookies, you'll need to bake a batch sugar cookies (find my signature sugar cookies and icing recipe HERE) with the Woodland Animal cutters.  Once the cookies are baked and cooled, the fun begins!
