Abominable Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 batch Sugar Cookie Dough
- Circle shaped cookie cutter
- 5 disposable decorating bags
- 4 Wilton #3 decorating tipss
- 1 Wilton #233 decorating tip
- 1 Batch Buttercream icing
- White jimmies sprinkles
Instructions
- Bake cookies and make buttercream icing. (Linked)
- Fit three pastry bags with #3 decorating tips and fill one with white icing and one with gray icing, one with black icing and one with blue icing.
- Fit one pastry bag with #233 decorating tip and fill with white icing.
- Using the gray icing, draw a half circle inside the cookie and use a back and forth motion to fill in the space.
- Using the black, white and blue icing bags with #3 tips and draw eyes and mouth onto cookie following the photo below.
- Using the white icing bag fitted with the #233 tip and holding the bag vertically, squeeze icing bag to create "fur" all around the face of Everest. Continue to pipe fur around face until fully filled in.
Notes
The cookies were a hit with the kids! These cookie are great for Abominable movie nights, birthday parties or any occasion to make little faces smile. The cookies last about 3 days and also freeze like a dream, so you can make a few extra to give to school friends or neighbors.
