Hi Pam! More baking and kid videos coming your way!! Would love to have you in class next year!
Hi Jenny: I enjoyed your Christmas Crack video, and signed up for your site/newsletter, and confirmed it…but, I haven’t received the lovely printables to go along with the Christmas crack! Is there another link I need to follow? Thanks so much, and Merry, Merry Christmas!
Hi Celeste,
Let me know if you haven’t received the download yet and we will get that out to you!
The same here. I signed up but never received the link for cards.
Hi Mary! The link to the recipe and free card download is in the post above. This blog is 3 years old so I linked everything here so no one has to wait for an email. Let me know if you try the recipe!
Hi Jenny! This looks delicious. My daughter is allergic to peanuts, gave you ever tried this recipe with almond butter? Wondering if it would turn out as good.
Hi Tara! I haven’t tried it but many people have asked and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work! Try it!! Maybe even cashew butter?
Loved the Christmas Crack video
Thanks Sharon!
A friend is raving about your cookbook that she’s giving as gifts this Christmas. Where can I purchase 4 copies? 2 of my kid are getting married this next year and the 3rd lives to bake and is attending culinary school. The 4th one is for me. Thank you!!!
Hi Jerri! You can find it on amazon, barnes and noble, and walmart websites as well as in bookstores and Nordstrom 🙂
Hi Jenny. I just tried making this and I totally failed. Is there a temperature to cook the butter sugar mixtures on the stove. Mine came up to a boil fast and the sugar was not dissolving well? I also burned it in the oven. Please help me with some tips.
Hi Stephanie, Oh no! I just melt mine on medium/low heat, no specific temperature. Have you tried testing your oven for temperature? Sometimes they can be off and need to be re-calibrated.
More table settings
Awesome, love that idea!
Excited for the Christmas crack recipe!
This looks so great! The best part is that I have all of these ingredients in my pantry right now. I’m going to make it with my 11-year old niece. Thanks and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Don’t you just love recipes like that? Merry Christmas to you as well!
So I doubled the recipe from the video and when I mixed the peanut butter mixture the butter stayed separated from it!?! What did I do wrong? I still finished the recipe to see if it will turn out ok but I poured the liquid part off. I want to try again tomorrow.
Oh no! I’ve made it many times and haven’t ever had a problem! What happened once it dried? Did it end up freezing ok?
I thought I was subscribed? Anyway, would LOVE the tags!!!
Thank you Jenny , as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me know if you didn’t get the email!
Hi Jenny!! Love this video!! I adore “how to’s” because like you said it gives someone a good idea how it looks, etc. For 2016 I think it would be so much fun to see more videos and more adult party themed ideas with links on where to find the goodies you use to decorate, make etc. I know I had a Fiesta party and purchased your cactus cups…things along those lines are so inspiring from you! Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Thanks Terrell! That is awesome feedback. More adult parties coming your way!! 🙂
Saw you on New Day recently. I’m always looking for quick and easy recipes. The Christmas Crack looks fun to make and fun to eat.

I’m official…ill wait to see if I get the tags!!!! Thanks Jenni!
Hi Jenny,
I recently subscribed but haven’t yet received the the recipe or cards. Can you send those my way? Thank you.
Thank you
Hi Jenny! Just by chance, I turned on the TV the other day and saw you on New Day. I finally had the time to look you up! I am so excited to try this recipe! I have a couple questions…first, in the video you used fewer crackers than you would for a 9 x 13 pan. Did you also scale back the other ingredients for the topping or is that what you would use for a full recipe? Also, I subscribed below and I’m just wondering how long it takes to receive the email with the recipe and printables? I probably just need to be more patient but I really want to make this for Christmas! Thanks!
Yes the smaller pan only fits about one sleeve of crackers where a 9×13 will fit about a sleeve and a half. I use the full recipe for my smaller pan, it just makes the “crack” a little thicker but if you wanted to scale it back for a smaller pan you could! Let me know if you didn’t get the recipe yet, it usually takes a couple of hours.
I love all your videos, especially baking for holidays throughout the year and your adult parties… But what I keep getting drawn to is your post on the farmhouse renovation. Would love to see some video tutorials on your farmhouse and how to make it farmhouse chic!
Hi Jenny!
I love your website & blog!! Do you keep this in the refrigerator after you make it or not? I want to make this today or tomorrow for Christmas Day.
Thanks & Happy Holidays!!
I keep it in an air tight container (like a rubbermaid), not refrigerated!
Loved this recipe!!
Yay!
christmas is great and very easy

Love your Instagram account. Please send the Christmas Crack recipe 🙂
Hi Deanna! The recipe is linked above!
I have tried this recipe twice and both times were a complete fail. When you melt the butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar together the butter separates out and won’t come back into the other ingredients. I tried it again melting the butter with the peanut butter first and then adding the brown sugar. That seem to work but the sugar was not dissolving. I kept it on a low heat to try to dissolve the sugar but it never dissolved and eventually again The butter separated out. So I wasted the ingredients twice. I won’t try a third time. I am not a novice baker. I don’t know what I am doing wrong but I have given up on this recipe
Hi Kathleen,
Oh no!! I’m not sure why that would separate. I’ve had hundreds of people try the recipe with success, it happens to be one of my most popular recipes. Sorry to hear so many ingredients have gone to waste.
Hi Jenny – The first time I made these, I used organic brown sugar that has the raw consistency, it failed miserably. I tried a second time with the C&H brown sugar and it worked like a charm. That might be an issue some are having.
Looks good, will try it
I’d love to make this for friends, but have a few that are gluten sensitive. Do you have a suggestion for a good gluten-free ritz cracker alternative for this recipe?
Hi Lisa! Any salty buttery cracker would work great. If you try some, let me know what you use!
Would this be salted or unsalted butter? Thanks!
Hi Katie! Salted butter!
I would love the Christmas crack recipe, plz.
Hi Kimberly! The link to the recipe is in the blog post above!
Loved the crack!!!
Yay!!
Just found this and am making it right now! WOW !!! Thanks !
Love Christmas Crack
