The Cutest Halloween Baking Supplies

Halloween baking season is here, and there are so many cute things out right now for making spooky treats!

I pulled together some of my favorite Halloween baking supplies to make it easy to find everything in one place. Think Halloween sprinkles, decorating supplies, baking accessories and all the little extras that can turn a basic batch of cookies, cupcakes or brownies into something festive.

You definitely don’t need a complicated dessert to make something cute for Halloween. Sometimes all it takes is a fun sprinkle mix, candy eyeballs or a seasonal baking find to completely transform a recipe you already love.

If you’re planning a Halloween party, baking with the kids or just want an excuse to make something festive this October, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite finds below.

Cute Halloween Baking Supplies

Target always has such a fun selection of seasonal baking finds, and Halloween might be one of my favorites.

I’ve been looking for pieces that could work for all kinds of Halloween desserts rather than supplies you’ll only use for one specific recipe. Add them to homemade sugar cookies, cupcakes, brownies, cakes, Rice Krispie treats or even a store-bought dessert that needs a quick Halloween makeover.

I’ve gathered all of my finds together below so they’re easy to shop in one place.

Easy Ways to Use Halloween Baking Finds

The best part about seasonal baking supplies is that you don’t necessarily need a brand-new recipe to use them.

Start with a recipe you already know and love and give it a Halloween twist.

Decorate Halloween Sugar Cookies

Bake a batch of your favorite sugar cookies and set out frosting, sprinkles and decorations for an easy Halloween cookie decorating night.

You don’t have to make elaborate bakery-style designs, either. Pumpkins, ghosts, bats and monsters can all be really simple to decorate, especially if you’re baking with kids.

Make Halloween Cupcakes

Cupcakes might be one of the easiest desserts to turn into a Halloween treat.

Make your favorite chocolate or vanilla cupcakes, pipe on buttercream and finish them with Halloween sprinkles, candy decorations or a fun topper.

Even a basic chocolate cupcake suddenly feels like a Halloween dessert when you add the right decorations.

Dress Up Brownies

This is such an easy option if you need a last-minute Halloween dessert.

Bake your favorite brownies, add a little frosting or melted chocolate and finish them with festive sprinkles or candy eyes.

Cut them into squares and arrange them on a Halloween platter and you’re done!

Make Monster Rice Krispie Treats

Rice Krispie treats are another easy blank canvas for Halloween baking.

Dip or drizzle them in colored candy melts or chocolate, add sprinkles and finish with candy eyeballs to make silly little monsters. This is also a fun Halloween baking activity for kids because there’s really no wrong way to decorate them.

Create a Halloween Dessert Board

If you’re hosting a Halloween party, use a mixture of homemade and store-bought desserts to put together an easy Halloween dessert board.

Add decorated cookies, brownies, cupcakes, candy, popcorn and other little treats. Using a few Halloween baking decorations throughout everything makes the whole board feel coordinated without requiring you to make every single thing from scratch.

Halloween Baking With Kids

One of my favorite things about Halloween desserts is that they don’t have to be perfect.

Give kids a bowl of frosting, some sprinkles and candy eyes and let them go for it. The messier the monster cupcake or cookie looks, the better!

You could even turn it into a Halloween baking night. Bake the cookies or cupcakes ahead of time, set everything out on the table and let everyone decorate their own treats.

It’s such an easy October activity and you get dessert out of it too.

What to Keep in Your Halloween Baking Stash

If you bake often during October, there are a few things that are helpful to keep on hand:

  • Halloween sprinkle mixes
  • Orange, black, purple and green sprinkles
  • Candy eyeballs
  • Halloween cookie cutters
  • Cupcake liners
  • Food coloring
  • Piping bags
  • Festive cupcake toppers
  • Candy melts or melting chocolate
  • Halloween candies for decorating

You don’t need all of these, but having a few seasonal decorations tucked away makes it really easy to turn whatever you’re already baking into a Halloween treat.

Shop My Halloween Baking Favorites

I’ve put all of my favorite Halloween baking finds together in one place so you don’t have to hunt for everything individually.

Whether you’re planning a full Halloween dessert table or just making a batch of cookies after school, there are so many fun ways to use these finds throughout October.
