January always feels a little… off.
The holidays are over, the house feels emptier, routines feel weird, and I always crave a reset, I just don’t want anything intense or overwhelming. So this year, I’m doing something simple. And if you’re feeling similar, I’d love for you to do it with me!
What This Is
The Jenny Cookies January Reset is an easy, 30-day reset we’ll move through together in January. Each day, I’ll share a few simple ideas for your mind, body, or home, nothing hard, and definitely not all-or-nothing.
Some days you might do more.
Some days you might do one small thing.
Both count!
This isn’t about committing to something so hardcore you end up quitting. It’s just about showing up in a way that fits your real life.

What a Day Might Look Like
Each day includes a few optional prompts, like:
- A little movement (walking absolutely counts)
- Easy, feel-good food or recipe inspiration
- A small home reset (one drawer, one shelf, one surface)
- A moment of gratitude or kindness
You never have to do everything.
Just choose one, or more if you have the energy.
Why I’m Doing This
After weeks of sweets, treats, and busy holiday days, I find myself craving foods that feel good, routines that give me energy, and small habits that make everyday life feel a little lighter. This reset is how I’m taking care of myself in January, realistically and without pressure. I’ll be doing it right alongside you!
What This Reset Is (and Isn’t)
This reset is:
- Easy and flexible
- Supportive, not overwhelming
- Designed for real life in January
This reset is not:
- A diet
- A workout program
- A full-house overhaul
- Something you can “fail”
If you miss a day, you’re not behind. You just start again the next day.
When We’re Starting
We’ll start January 1 and move through the month together.

If you like to prep a bit, you might want:
- A notebook or planner
- Comfortable walking shoes
- A few simple, nourishing foods you already enjoy

Optional Favorites I’m Using This January
You don’t need to buy anything to participate in the Jenny Cookies January Reset. This reset is designed to work with what you already have. That said, I know some people like having a few supportive wellness items on hand, especially in January, so I wanted to share a few things I personally use and enjoy.
Greens or Daily Wellness Support
BetterGreens are something I drink year-round. I mix them into water or sparkling water every day. They’re an easy way for me to get a full serving of fruits and veggies, plus digestive enzymes and apple cider vinegar. They give me that natural energy boost I love and help support my immune system, especially during busy seasons.
Protein Powder or Protein-Forward Snacks
January is when I lean into easy meals and snacks that keep me full without a lot of prep. Protein powder is helpful for smoothies, baked goods, or quick snacks, but any protein you already enjoy works too.
Comfortable Walking Shoes
Movement during this reset is simple, walking counts! The only thing that matters is that your shoes are comfortable enough to move in without thinking about it.
Cozy Workout or Lounge Clothes
Nothing fancy here. Just clothes that make you feel comfortable enough to move, stretch, or head out for a walk, or just feel a little more put together at home.
Any Vitamins You Already Take
If you already have a vitamin routine, keep it simple and stick with what you know works for you. There’s no need to add anything new for this reset unless you want to. These are my favorite multivitamin.
