I love anything marbled, especially buttercream. If you want to know the quickest and easiest way to decorate several cookies at once, keep reading!
01
You’ll need to start with baked and cooled sugar cookies and buttercream icing colored in your preferred palette.
02
Microwave each bowl of icing for about 20 seconds. Stir and add a few tablespoons of milk. Keep stirring! Your goal is a drippy, runny consistency.
03
When all three colors are melted down to a smooth and runny consistency, pour your base color into a shallow bowl. The bowl needs to be shallow and wide enough for your hand to fit to dip a cookie into.
04
I always start with the lightest color as my base and then drizzle the other two colors in, creating a marbled look.
05
Holding the cookie by it’s edge, gently dip the cookie down into the melted buttercream mixture.
06
When it’s halfway submerged into the icing, turn the cookie around and lay on a cooling rack to dry. Repeat with remaining cookies.
