A man’s cake. | 60th birthday

My father in law turned 60 last month. I wanted to make him a masculine cake, something different from my usual fluffy, pretty, buttercream cakes.

I headed to the nearest Cabella’s and found this camo “G”, and picked up these plastic deer at Michaels. For the cake, we did a german chocolate cake, then coated the sides in chopped walnuts.

It turned out super cute, and definitely masculine! Happy 60th Grandpa George!
