Eat More Dessert online blog tour PLUS an amazing giveaway!

Eat More Dessert hit the bookstore shelves this past Tuesday, April 8th. What an exciting day!! I loved sitting next to Martha Stewart on the shelf.

It’s been so much fun seeing your tweets, facebook and instagram posts of the book in Barnes & Noble‘s around the country. Thank you for sharing those! It’s kind of surreal. In fact, I love it so much that I decided to giveaway ALL of the cookie cutters used in the book from thecookiecuttershop.com to one of you lucky readers! To enter, post a selfie of yourself holding your copy of Eat More Dessert, tag @jennycookies and use #eatmoredessert for a chance to win! Winner will be announced Friday April 18th. (Post your photo on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or all three!)

I’m also SO excited to share that Eat More Dessert took the #1 spot in Cookie books on Amazon! Hip Hip Hooray! And an extra big hug to those of you who left such sweet and honest reviews on Amazon. I loved reading through those and hearing your thoughts on the book! Keep it up!!

Who’s ready for this week’s EAT MORE DESSERT online blog tour?!! Last week we heard from Tori Spelling, She’s Kinda Crafty, The Celebration Shoppe, Pop Sugar Moms, and Craft that Party.

On Thursday we will hear from my friend Betsy from Cupcakes Take the Cake!

And Friday my talented and super fun friend JoAnne from Oh Goodie Designs will share her review of the book. JoAnne designed the adorable vintage kitten party hats and horns from Ally’s kitten party!

  1. Congrats on your book Jenny. It is a wonderful baking source, the design is gorgeous. A work of art, really.

  2. Got it in the mail today and can’t wait to pour over it during naptime tomorrow!

  3. Congrats on the book. Just got it in the mail from Amazon today. Beautiful! I can’t wait to bake something. Please tell me about your cookie icing. You don’t use royal icing, but you use buttercream instead. How is it that your icing on the cookies doesn’t get messed up when you plate them or bag them? Does your buttercream icing dry differently than other buttercream icings?

    1. Hi Anne!
Glad to hear how much you love the book! I usually let my cookies “dry” for about 6 hours before bagging or stacking them on cake plates. Typically I’m baking late at night, so by the time I’m up in the morning, they’re ready to be packaged! Would LOVE if you’d leave a review on Amazon!!
