Last month I completely forgot it was my daughter’s Star of the Day at preschool until we were walking out the door. Normally I have a special treat all made up and ready for her class. Horrified, I threw a box of graham crackers into her backpack and raced to school feeling like I had failed Ally.

This month I had to redeem myself and what better way than edible dirt and carrots that actually taste good!?! The kids loved it.

Whew.
